If yours arrives damaged, write to us within 48 hours with a short video of the damage (preferred) or a few clear photos, and a new one is on its way. The small print

Wildpetal is a five-petal bloom in a maroon plaid, now cut from 100% mulberry satin silk — silk charmeuse, a natural fibre spun by silkworms, not polyester. Each petal is stuffed, shaped and hand-set onto a soft-core elastic, then edged with cotton lace.

Free shipping across India on orders over ₹499. Once it leaves us: about 2 working days to the big metros, 4 working days to most other cities, and 6 working days everywhere else in India.
Outside India, 4–5 working days, tracked. Delivery is free over $50 in the US, £45 in the UK, €50 in Europe and US$50 elsewhere; below that it's $20, £16, €18 or US$20. If your country charges import duty, it's collected on delivery, not by us.
Each piece travels in a paper Moosi pouch. Keep it, gift it, regift it; the pouch doesn't mind.
Silk likes to be treated like hair, because it nearly is.
A small honest note — because each scrunchie touches your hair and skin, we can't accept returns or exchanges, worn or unworn. Hair things are personal, and re-circulating them isn't fair to the next Creature.
Please pick mindfully — we keep the photos and sizing as honest as we can. If your piece arrives damaged in transit, write to us at moosi.care@gmail.com within 48 hours, with a short video of the damage (preferred) or a few clear photos, and we'll send a fresh one.
Written down plainly, so the price makes as much sense to you as it does to us. Beside it, for honesty's sake: what a ₹99 satin scrunchie usually is.

Satin is a weave, not a material. Most satin scrunchies are polyester — a plastic that warms against your skin and drags on the strand. Ours is 100% mulberry satin silk, the weave called charmeuse: spun by silkworms, glossy on one face, matte on the other, and the lightest, softest cloth we have found for a scrunchie.
Silk is a protein fibre, like your hair. It slides instead of gripping, so fewer strands snap when you take it out and there's less frizz by evening. Sleep in it, if you like.
~ the lace frill is decoration. the petals and the elastic do the holding.
Regional Laboratory, Textiles Committee — Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Kolkata. Tested 11–21 September 2026.
What it adds up to: nothing harmful found, a near-neutral pH, and colour that stays in the silk. That's why we call it skin-friendly.
Grades run from 1 to 5, and 5 is the best a fabric can score. The lab tested a sample of the silk fabric we sent in, so the results speak for that sample. Reports TC/ST/CEO/282/2026-27 and TC/LC/ST/1008/2026-27, both dated 21 September 2026. Read both reports, and what each result means.
There is no line. One trained artisan picks up the silk and puts down the finished Wildpetal, 30 to 40 minutes later. Which is why no two turn out quite the same — and why we make them in small batches, on purpose.
The finest mulberry satin silk we can find — charmeuse. New cloth, chosen for this.
Natural dyes where the shade allows. For this maroon plaid: internationally standardised dyes, skin-friendly and lab-tested by the Textiles Committee, Govt. of India.
One artisan cuts the plaid to the design — five petals, one band. Nothing extra.
Petals stuffed, shaped and gathered onto the elastic; lace set by hand. The same hands, start to finish.
Steamed, checked, folded into a paper pouch. Then it travels to you, gently.
Two loops and it holds. The padded petals take the weight, so the elastic never has to bite.
Silk is gentle on baby hairs. Loop it twice — the plump petals lock against each other, so the fabric can be kind without letting go.
Slides out without taking souvenirs. Curls keep their pattern, and their opinion.
Half-up, baby ponytail, or a wrist day. All of these count.
The elastic sits flat on the wrist, so when your hair comes down the Wildpetal moves to your hand and waits there — no dent, no bite. Bag handle, journal, ankle: all fair.

Every Wildpetal is one person's half hour. The circle sets its own hours, and each of them makes a piece from first cut to last stitch — no production line, no piece handed along. When you take one home, you're carrying a little piece of someone's morning.
Wrists differ. Buns differ. If the standard Wildpetal isn't quite your size, tell us your measurements and the circle will cut and stitch one for exactly you.
A wrist in centimetres, or your bun described in your own words. Both work.
We cut silk for one, not for a shelf. Nothing extra made, nothing thrown away — a little closer to zero.
Custom pieces are cut from the same tested mulberry satin silk, by the same hands.
~ a custom Wildpetal takes two to three slow weeks. It's worth it.
Wildpetal is new in the forest, so this corner is still quiet. Every word that lands here will come from someone who bought one.
Only Creatures who've bought Wildpetal can write here — that's how this page stays honest. We read every review before it goes up, to check it's real, never to make it nicer. The lukewarm ones go up too.

Yes — 100% mulberry satin silk, the weave called charmeuse. Satin is a weave, not a material, and most satin scrunchies are polyester. Ours is spun by silkworms. The lace trim is cotton.
Silk is a protein fibre, like hair, so it slides instead of gripping. Fewer strands snap when you take it out, and there's less frizz by evening. You can sleep in it.
Yes, it's skin-friendly, and lab-tested to show it. The silk fabric was tested in September 2026 by the Regional Laboratory of the Textiles Committee in Kolkata, part of the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. No banned azo dyes were found, formaldehyde was not detectable, the pH was 7.31 (close to neutral), and the colour held against sweat (5 of 5) and rubbing (5 dry, 4–5 wet). It's a lab test of the fabric, not a test on skin. You can read both reports, and what each result means, on our Lab reports page.
It's one size: about 12 cm laid flat, stretching to 18 cm. One loop for thick hair, two for fine. The padded petals and the soft-core elastic do the holding — the lace is only there to look pretty.
We replace it, free, for as long as the piece exists. Write to us first, post your Wildpetal to us (you cover the way there), and we fit a new elastic and post it home — return shipping on us. About a week, door to door.
Hand wash in cool water with a mild soap — no soaking, no wringing. Press the water out in a towel, reshape the petals while damp, and dry flat in the shade; sun fades silk.
One trained artisan picks up the silk and puts down the finished Wildpetal, 30 to 40 minutes later. Nobody passes it along.
Very close, not identical. Each one is made by hand, so no two petals sit quite the same way — that's the part a machine can't copy. We keep the photos as honest as we can.

No, and here's the honest reason: it's something that lives in your hair, and passing it on to the next Creature isn't fair to her. So please pick mindfully.
