Our Story

We Didn't Start a Brand. We Found a World.

Somewhere between a quiet village, a crochet hook, and a creature that shouldn't exist — Moosi was born.

It Started With Hands

In a quiet rural corner of India, a group of women sat together — not in a factory, not under fluorescent lights — but in the kind of stillness where real things are made.

They had crochet hooks, patience, and years of skill passed down through generations. What they created weren't just objects. They were creatures. Small, strange, impossible things that seemed to have personalities before they even had names.

That's when we knew — this wasn't a product. This was something alive.

Weirdly Wonderful. On Purpose.

A Moosi is not cute in the usual way. It doesn't try to be.

Each one is handmade — which means no two are exactly the same. Each one carries the warmth and quiet intention of the person who made it.

You don't just own a Moosi. You adopt one. And somehow, it adopts you back.

Far From Factory Lines

Every Moosi creature is handcrafted by rural women artisans — skilled, meticulous, and deeply proud of what they make. We work in small batches. On purpose.

No conveyor belts. No bulk orders. No rushing. Just hands, thread, and the kind of care that you can actually feel when you hold one.

When you adopt a Moosi, you are directly supporting the women who made it.

This Is For the Weird Ones

Moosi was always meant for a specific kind of person. The ones who keep strange little things on their desks. The ones who name their plants. The ones who feel more themselves in a cozy corner with something handmade nearby.

If you found us, you probably already know which kind of person you are.

Welcome to the world of Moosi. You were always supposed to be here.

— Made with patience. Adopted with love. Weirdly Wonderful, always. 🌿
