We've tried to write this in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. It's still a real, binding agreement though, so please read it. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Who we are

"We," "us," and "Moosi Creatures" refer to Putulika Studio LLP, registered in Kolkata, West Bengal. "You" refers to anyone using this website or placing an order. Products are made in India.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to place an order on this site. If you're under 18, the order must be placed by a parent or legal guardian on your behalf.

Accounts

You may be able to check out as a guest or create an account, depending on what's available at checkout. If you create an account, the information you give us needs to be accurate, and you're responsible for keeping your login details private and for any activity under your account. Tell us right away at moosi.care@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it.

Products, pricing, and availability

We describe and photograph products as accurately as we can. Because each piece is slowmade by hand, in small batches, small variations in colour, pattern placement, or texture are normal and not errors.

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Prices can change without notice. If a price is displayed incorrectly because of a technical error, we can cancel the order and refund you in full, even if the order was already confirmed.

Products are made in small batches and can go out of stock at any time, including after an order is placed. If that happens, we'll let you know and refund you for that item.

Orders

Adding an item to cart or completing checkout is an offer to buy. It isn't a confirmed sale until we send you an order confirmation. We can refuse or cancel any order, before or after confirmation, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you'll be refunded in full.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of ordering, except for cash on delivery orders where that option is offered. We use third-party payment processors to handle transactions. We don't store your card details ourselves.

Shipping

We currently ship within India. Once your order is handed to a courier, we retain responsibility for it until it's delivered to you. If it arrives damaged, that's covered under our Return & Refund Policy, not something you're responsible for. Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by the courier once a parcel leaves our hands.

Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled under our separate Return & Refund Policy. That policy is part of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Moosi Creatures name, logo, and wordmark are the property of Putulika Studio LLP. A trademark application is currently pending and has not yet been granted. All website content, including photography, illustrations, and writing, belongs to us or our licensors and can't be copied, reused, or reproduced without permission. Buying a product doesn't give you any rights to our brand assets beyond using the product itself.

Content you share with us

If you post or send us photos, reviews, or other content featuring Moosi Creatures products, whether tagged, submitted directly, or shared with us any other way, you're giving us permission to use it. This includes a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, and adapt that content, including your name, image, or likeness where it appears, across our website, social media, and other marketing, with credit to you where reasonably possible.

By sharing content with us, you confirm it's yours to share, and if you're under 18, that a parent or guardian is aware and has agreed to it being shared. You can ask us to take something down at any time by writing to moosi.care@gmail.com, and we will.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how the site works, to attempt to access data that isn't yours, or to misuse the trademark, photography, or written content on the site.

Third-party links

This site may link to other websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or their practices.

No warranty

This website and its products are provided as they are, without additional guarantees beyond what's stated in our Return & Refund Policy, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits any warranty or protection you're entitled to under Indian consumer protection law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy available to you by law.

Indemnification

You agree to cover any reasonable losses we face because of your misuse of this website or a breach of these terms.

Force majeure

We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, or government action.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, without prejudice to any statutory right you have to approach a consumer forum instead.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do. The version live on the site at the time of your order is the one that applies.

Termination

We can restrict or end your access to this website at any time, for misuse of the site or of these terms.

General

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, along with our Return & Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us. Not enforcing a term on one occasion doesn't mean we give up the right to enforce it later. We can transfer our rights and obligations under these terms if the business changes hands. Your rights as a customer aren't affected by that.
